Really happy with our purchase of the 20x10 Pergola structure. The powder coat aluminum is very good quality. We added blocks beneath each main support pole to raise up enough to just barely walk underneath the short side since I am 6'3+ and the extra block height made it so I don't have to duck. I used 3/8th x 6 inch Simpson brand Strong Tie Titen HD concrete anchor screws/bolts instead of the supplied drop-in style anchors because I needed extra length since I raised it up. The Titen anchors have other advantages to drop-in anchors. The 3/8 x 6-inch anchors go through the support pole flanges, through the blocks, and into the patio slab, and the blocks have a single 6-inch anchor through the center for added stability and it worked out well (the support poles are square tubes so the center anchor does not interfere with the pole flanges). You will need a hammer drill with a 3/8th masonry bit to install your concrete anchors. Harbor Freight sells a corded hammer drill for $45 and it performed great. The rest of the structure just requires hand tools and a cordless drill to speed up the process. Another bonus is that a stock outdoor shade from Home Depot fits the pole span (just barely) so you can save money there by not having to order custom sizes. We just added one on the side where the most sun hits that area. Coolaroo 72x72 Outdoor Roller Shade in Pewter is a perfect color match. The assembly instructions were clear enough, the attachment of hardware and connecting pieces was virtually trouble-free, and it's a very approachable DIY project if you can swing a hammer (so-to-speak) and make things straight and level. A couple of capable handy workers can put this up in two days, and if you have four sets of hands it can be done in one long workday. The packaging was very good and everything arrived in just four or five days after ordering. There were some very minor dings and/or blemishes but nothing to be too concerned about. Let's say that maybe down the road the polycarbonate roof lenses begin to deteriorate, and even if you couldn't get replacements, then you still would have a sturdy and long-lasting metal structure to improvise a new roof using materials of your choice, or it could even be your future solar panel/pergola structure with some added support on the two highest corners since this is cantilever design. We really like that there's no posts on the high side so it fits our home's back patio very well and allows freedom of movement without any support poles on one side. I would recommend this product to home owners looking for a great value and protection from the sun. Our home is already feeling cooler. We love it!
We purchased the 6‘ x 8‘ storage shed with some hesitation, but Wayfair shipped it quickly, everything came in one box, and there were only two very minor imperfections in the panels, and only a few scratches on the paint, none of it noticeable from a distance. We had a plastic removal party the first night and it took four of us two hours to remove the sheets of plastic on a very warm day. But it was very rewarding work and we were able to chat while our hands were busy. Even a small child could help do it. We broke the assembly into a few days because of extreme heat in our area. There were definitely times when two sets of hands Made the job much easier. I am a 62-year-old woman and I worked with my 30-year-old daughter to do much of the work. The shed is exactly the size we need for a bicycle and a lawnmower and tools. It looks very attractive. We will replace the door latch with a stronger hasp and lock for security because this shed is in the city. Otherwise, it’s perfect.
This arrives with 2 large boxes of parts
The instructions are good and everything is well labeled.
It is quite the building project. You will definitely need tools (like a drill, a couple size screwdrivers: plywood and a circular saw if you want a floor in it)
You will definitely need two people to assemble, one to hold things together as the other installs stews/ it isn’t a one person assembly.
The screws in the ramp were tiny, it arrived broken (screws pulled out/ not broken wood) and trying to put them back in they continued to fall out. We used other screws. They just aren’t big enough to hold.
But all said… you get a lot of supplies for a modest price. In the end it looks good and it is a good value.
Just know that this isn’t a simple pop together project. It needs a whole day, 2 people and at least one of those people needs to be handy with and own a variety of tools.
Ours also took a bit of extra time as we adapted it to fit a catio door from a window.
The blades rinse off quickly, and the block wipes down in seconds. No hidden crevices to trap food, which makes cleanup after meals a breeze. I love that they’re dishwasher-safe too—less hand-washing for me.
Easy set up, great compact size, comfortable, good height table for the whole family to eat at.My one issue is it fadded SO fast in the sun, the rich burgundy/wine color is quickly fading into a muted brick color. If you want to keep the cushions rich make sure to cover them when not in use.
The included ottoman completes the comfort. It’s the ideal height to prop up my feet, and it matches the chair perfectly in both style and softness. Together, they create a little relaxation nook that feels like a mini retreat in my living room.
Great set!! Good quality wood and pretty comfy. Perrrfectt for a small balcony. Not sure why there was negative reviews… it is NOT a piece of crap! Good quality for the price!
I'm very pleased with this gazebo shelter. Since I wanted to attach it to the house wall overtop part of a deck, I needed something that sheds water away. Most shelter tops weren't suitable. Once completed and anchored to wall, the structure is very solid. It has a steel roof which is well supported so it's nice and rigid. Excellent shade structure and for rain. I'll add screening seasonally to create a bug-free zone. Given our needs and location, I chose a small version of 5 x 8 feet which was just what we were looking for. Good headroom clearance.I didn't find it too hard to assemble. It takes time, but not unexpected based on numerous other home projects I do. I managed to assemble mostly by myself in a day (~6 or 7 hours), but easier perhaps because it's the small version. I needed a second set of hands for about 15 minutes while I put the posts to vertical and attached the first 2 cross pieces. Then I braced with clamps to a deck railing for stability until it was anchored. Pieces mostly fit well, though a bit of tightening/loosening of bolts helped get the fit and alignment perfect. The final self-tapping trim screws didn't all have pilot holes which made that late step harder. The directions were OK but could be more detailed with bigger illustrations to show orientation of some pieces better. (Not always clear which way some pieces go... until later. Didn't happen too much though.)The 5x8' version came in a large single box, weighing 110 pounds via FedEx. Arrived way faster than suggested on site....about 2 days.Very pleased with the product.
Very nice! Perfect for a deck or patio area. Well designed and quality materials. I anchored mine with some turnbuckles and attached it to handrailing. I would not recommend anchoring it by only the base of the legs. It does need attachment points up higher for sturdiness. The panels are very lightweight and offer a nice look. Snow-load could be an issue in my area. If you're looking for a nice outdoor area this will do it! Arrived quickly, no damage. Instructions are easy and accurate. All parts included. Depending on your mechanical aptitude, I felt like it was an easy assembly. You may need help holding it up during final assembly. Again, highly recommended! Thanks to others for reviews as it influenced my purchase.
I wanted to update my porch patio and decided to give this set a try. It’s beautiful, lightweight, and the pillows are surprisingly comfortable. I’m not sure how long it will last, but for the price, the quality feels very reasonable. So far, I’m really happy with it!
From the small paring knife for peeling garlic to the large chef’s knife for cutting up a roast, this set has every blade I need. I haven’t reached for a separate tool since I got it—truly all-in-one.
