I was worried that it would be difficult to assemble the wooden structure, but it took me and my husband 1 hour to do it! All the boards are labeled, the screw holes are precisely aligned, and even the instructions are as clear as Lego drawings. The most surprising thing is that there is a storage space underneath the nesting box, so there is finally a place to put the feed bags.
I bought this coop for my Seramas. It’s pretty easy to assemble and marked well with good instructions. The wood is not very thick, but when screwed together, it seems sturdy. I repainted with exterior clear paint and placed it under my open-sided shed to increase longevity. I appreciate the way it is designed with several openings for convenience. I liked it well enough to order a second about 2 weeks later. I think it will be perfect for my needs and a great home for my small Seramas.
Comparing several chicken coops of the same size, this one is more affordable but the materials used are not bad at all. The cedar material has no pungent odor and the waterproof coating feels thick. Used for three months, the wood did not mold and did not crack, even the neighbors are asking me for a link to their own duck coop also change a ~!
