Well packaged in protective be film. Arrived in 2 boxes on 2 separate days. Went together in a day but it is time consuming not because it is difficult but because it’s a time consuming process. Does require one to have some type of base which we already knew so no surprise there. Instructions were fairly easy to follow . I would highly recommend it o anyone.
